Thinking about your funeral may feel unusual or even uncomfortable, but many people find that taking a little time to reflect on their preferences brings real peace of mind. If you’re not ready to make financial arrangements yet, you can still pre‑arrange your funeral by sharing your wishes with us. We’ll record them carefully and keep them safe, ensuring that when the time comes, your funeral is carried out exactly as you would want.

Some people have very clear ideas about what they want — and what they don’t want. Others take a more relaxed approach: “Do whatever you like, I won’t be there — bury me in a cardboard box.” Wherever you sit on that spectrum, we’re here to help you think things through.

Many people value the chance to talk openly about their funeral wishes and to ask questions about what’s possible. That’s why we offer free funeral wishes consultations.

A consultation may include discussing the cost of different options, but unlike a prepaid funeral plan, it involves no payment and no obligation.

How is this different from a funeral plan?

A prepaid funeral plan is a financial product — a way to pay for a funeral in advance and secure today’s pricing. A funeral wishes consultation is simply a conversation about your preferences. There is no payment involved.

It’s helpful to share your wishes with the people who are likely to organise your funeral. This can open up a meaningful conversation and ensure they understand what’s important to you. If you’d prefer not to discuss it, you can simply let them know where your wishes are stored.
